What is black maca?
Maca roots grow in several colors, and black is the scarcest, only a small share of any harvest. In Peru black maca is the color traditionally chosen by men and by athletes for stamina, focus and physical energy. Incaliving Black Maca Powder is single-color, so you get 100% black maca root, not a blend.
Why Incaliving black maca is different
- Single origin, high altitude. Grown on organic farms at about 15,000 feet in the Junin region of the Andes, where maca has been cultivated for over 2,000 years.
- Sun-dried, then gelatinized. The roots dry for weeks in the Andean sun, then a gentle heat step removes the starch. Gelatinized maca is easier to digest and more concentrated. No gelatin is used; the powder is 100% vegan.
- Packaged at the source and flown. Filled and sealed on our farm in Peru, then shipped by air to Florida. Fresher than maca that spends weeks at sea.

How to use black maca powder

I bought it for the benefits. Prepare to put this stuff in smoothie or something. It has an earthy nutty smell to it. You have to be pretty consistent too! You don’t have too though. Follow the instructions and it will guide you the basic amount behind the bottle.
