What is Triple Maca Powder?

Maca is a root vegetable that has grown in the high Peruvian Andes for more than 2,000 years. It comes in three colors, and each one is traditionally used a little differently: red for women’s balance and bone support, black for focus and stamina, yellow for everyday energy. Incaliving Triple Maca Powder gives you all three in one blend, 60% red, 20% black and 20% yellow, so you get the full spectrum of the root in a single teaspoon.

How to use maca powder

Start with one teaspoon (5 g) a day. Stir it into a smoothie, coffee, oatmeal, yogurt or baking. Maca has a mild, malty, slightly nutty taste that pairs especially well with cacao, banana and cinnamon. Most people take it in the morning. You can increase to two teaspoons once you know how your body likes it.

Frequently asked questions

Is gelatinized maca better than raw maca? Raw maca contains starch that can be hard to digest. Gelatinized maca has the starch removed, so it is gentler on the stomach and more concentrated. It does not contain gelatin.

Which maca color should I choose? If you are not sure, start with Triple Maca. It combines red, black and yellow, so you do not have to pick. If you want a single color, see our Red Maca Powder or Black Maca Powder.

Does maca have caffeine? No. Maca is caffeine free. Many customers use it as a natural morning pick-me-up in place of a second coffee.
